The Journey of Quartz Slab Production: An Inside Look
Join us for a behind-the-scenes tour of the world of quartz sheet production - from the first step to the last, explore the main four-step process for creating these amazingly versatile materials for a variety of applications.
1.Blending
Raw materials such as quartz, resin, and pigment are mixed together under a certain ratio and stirred until forming a uniform, homogenous mixture.
2.Molding
The mixture is then poured into a mold and compressed under high pressure to remove any air bubbles and create a compact slab.
3.Curing
After the mixture is molded into a slab, it undergoes a curing process in which it is heated at a high temperature to harden and strengthen the material.
4.Finishing
The slab is removed from the mold and undergoes a series of finishing processes - cutting, polishing, and adding decorative elements or edge treatments.
